Welcome to this 15-minute slow flow yoga practice designed to support your hips and lower back, two deeply connected areas where we often store tension, stress, and emotion. This gentle, mindful practice invites you to soften and open through the hips, the largest joint in the body, helping to increase circulation, release fascia, and restore a sense of grounded ease.
We'll move slowly and intentionally through poses like Malasana, Temple Pose, Skandasana, and Reclining Pigeon, each one chosen to nurture mobility, release deep-seated tightness, and create space in the body and mind. Perfect if you’ve been sitting for long periods, feeling stiff, or simply craving a moment of reconnection with yourself.
The hips are a powerful and complex area of the body, home to some of our largest muscles and deepest connective tissues. Energetically, the hips are also associated with the sacral chakra, a center linked to emotion, creativity, and flow. By gently stretching and releasing this area, we not only support the physical body; improving circulation, joint health, and alignment, but also invite emotional release and a deeper sense of grounded presence within ourselves.
This 15-minute yoga class for hips is perfect for those days when time is limited but your body is craving release and care. Even a short, focused practice can make a meaningful difference, helping to ease tension, improve mobility, and reconnect you to your breath and body.
