Welcome to Day 21 of the Advent Challenge — a deeply nourishing Yin Yoga practice for better sleep. This slow, grounding class focuses on gentle hip openers and restorative poses to calm the nervous system, release tension, and prepare the body for deep rest.
We’ll move through Sleeping Swan, reclined butterfly, Banana Pose, and Savasana, with a supported Bridge and Waterfall pose using a yoga block for gentle spinal release and circulation. No other props are needed, and all poses are accessible and easy to modify.
Practised outdoors beside a peaceful lake, this session is accompanied by the soothing presence of swans and birds in the background, inviting stillness, reflection, and connection with nature. Perfect for evening practice, bedtime yoga, stress relief, and anyone seeking better sleep, emotional balance, and deep relaxation.
