In this class, we focus on functional core strength that stabilizes the spine and reduces common overuse injuries in rowers.
The class includes yoga-based strength and mobility exercises targeting:
• Deep core stabilizers for efficient power transfer
• Obliques to protect the ribs
• Hip and pelvic stability to reduce low back strain and injury
• Breath control coordinated with core engagement for powerful and efficient strokes
• Relaxation and tension releasing poses to remind the body it can be strong and stable but doesn't have to stay tense
