9 weeks to go and this week I break down my current training splits across a week and how I'm going to adapt the training program as we get closer to the 50 Mile Ultra.
Largely involves 2 sessions a day split between strength training and running. Managing muscle groups with specific style of running drills to maximise progress but also promote recovery.
With intense weeks like this recovery is possibly the most important area to get dialled in. The right nutrition, stretching, mobility and the right amount of restful sleep.
