🔥 Looking for something totally new and unique? You’ve found it.
In this video, we build stunning UV-reactive casting spoons for fall salmon and trout—*without sanding, painting, or surface prep*. Using anodized zinc alloy blanks and a brand-new color application method, we preserve the natural beauty of the metal while delivering intense glow and unmatched durability.
🎣 Why it matters:
Chinook (king) salmon come within casting range in late summer and fall
Mixed bag potential: coho, steelhead, browns, and lake trout
Bait floods the harbors during fall turnover—fish are stacked and aggressive
💡 These baits are:
Tough as nails (no fading, chipping, or corrosion)
Gorgeous in natural light and under UV
Ready to fish straight out of the build

If you're looking for something totally new and unique, you've come to the right place. You've seen in our other videos that we make a lot of casting spoons around the end of the summer when the chinook (king) salmon start their fall migration. This migration brings them within casting distance from the shore, docks or piers and this can be one of the very best times to fish for them. Of course, you'll always have the opportunity for a mixed bag with coho, steelhead, brown trout and lake trout, which all will be hanging around the same areas, because there's a lot of bait jamming into the harbors to get away from the dropping water temperature in the main lake due to fall turnover. These baits are really pretty and it was great to make a video that didn't require a ton of sanding and surface preparation. We used zinc alloy blanks that were anodized into different colors, yielding a smooth, durable and visually appealing look. We didn't want to mess that up, so we developed a brand new method to dress these units in the right colors for salmon and trout, while preserving their inherent beauty. The result is stunning, intensely UV-reactive baits that are tough as nails and will never fade, chip, crack, peel, corrode or otherwise wear quickly from use. They look amazing in natural light and when they're under the UV lamp...wow...amazing colors. As always, these baits are available for sale, so get hold of me through the links on the channel if you need a few.Anyway, we're so glad you stopped by and we hope you enjoy the video! Make sure to like, subscribe, share, comment and set the alert bell so you don't miss the next one : ) Take care, y'all, and be kind to one another. We need more of that now than ever.
