Are you new to Pilates and don’t know where to start? This 5-day series of Pilates Workouts for Beginners is perfect for those just starting as well as those interested in a refresher on the Pilates fundamentals.
This Pilates class for Day 1 focuses on finding your core. Throughout these mat pilates exercises, we’ll focus on the deep abdominal muscles, the ones needed for optimum core strength, support and stability. This beginners workout includes core exercises that will set the foundation for the next 4 videos in the workout series, so don’t miss this one! I love coming back to the pilates basics because I always learn something new about how to engage more deeply.
If you’re like me and don’t have the time or energy for full-hour workouts most days, there is no shame in that! When you focus on proper form and alignment, a 15-30 minute class is the perfect way to fit in a quick and effective workout. Doing pilates at home, or wherever you may be, is so accessible since all you need is a mat!
