INGREDIENTS for at least serving of 40 peoples
250 ML Groundnut Oil
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
1 small Cinnamon Stick
1 Bay Leaf
4-5 Dry Red Chilies
1 Bowl each of Ginger & Green Chili paste
500 Gram Spring onion & 500 Gram Spring Garlic Finely Chopped Onion
1 Bowl Each : Onion & Tomato Puree
Salt, to taste
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
4 tsp Red Chili Powder
4 tsp Coriander Powder
1/2 tsp Garam Masala
500 Grams of Akhi Tuvar Dal , soaked and boiled)
INSTRUCTIONS:
Heat oil in a pan.
Add cumin seeds, cinnamon stick, bay leaf, and dry red chilies. Let splutter.
Add Chopped Spring Onion and saute then add Spring Garlic chopped
Add ginger-green chili Paste and sauté.
Add onion paste - saute
Add tomato puree; cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and garam masala. Mix well.
Add boiled tuvar and water. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Add Chopped fresh coriander on the top.
ASSEMBLY AND SERVING:
Serve into any wide plate along with Bajra Rotla or Bread
Garnish with chopped spring onion and Sev
