Today we go into what meditation actually is and how to get around the stigma behind the word.
Key focus:
Comfort! Get yourself super comfy. preferably not crossed legged on the floor as this can cause all sorts of uncomfortable sensations. It might of course be fine for some.
I suggest using a few blocks/ books/ cushions to prop yourself up in a kneeling position or sit in a chair.
Awareness of chest area including the rib cage and lung capacity.
Awareness of thoughts and sensations. Noting them and gently bringing your awareness to the breath.
Remember this is a sitting and breathing practice into presence.
Practice is the essence!
