In this video, I’m sharing three key takeaways I learned from studying the Schroth Method and how I apply them in a simple, accessible way through scoliosis propping.
After years of working inside my own scoliotic body and studying scoliosis-specific approaches like Schroth and Scolio-Pilates, one thing became very clear:
✔️ Scoliosis doesn’t need more forcing or stretching
✔️ The spine doesn’t need to be “fixed” through aggressive movement
✔️ Support, awareness, and specificity matter more than intensity
In this session, I show you how to use towels, pillows, or small props while lying on your back to help:
✓ Support your curves
✓ Bring your spine closer to center
✓ Reduce tension and muscular guarding
✓ Improve comfort and body awareness
✓ Create a sense of stability and ease
This is a gentle, restorative approach designed to help your body feel supported rather than corrected, and it’s especially helpful if you experience discomfort, fatigue, or tension around your curves.
