The jump rope is one of the best pieces of equipment there is for building lower body strength, coordination, and endurance. The problem is that it’s freaking hard and most people’s technique doesn’t help. Since it’s been a big part of my training for the last 20+ years and I recommend it in all my programs I figured it’s time for a quick tutorial to make sure you’re doing things properly and getting the most out of it.
Here are the three biggest mistakes that most people make.
1. They jump too high.
2. They use too much arm movement.
3. They don’t use enough variety.
