Gulab Jamun | Perfect Instant Gulab Jamun with a twist in Urdu & Hindi by kitchen climbers
Ingredients:
Instant Gulab jamun Mix - 175 g
Khoa - 125 g
Paneer - 50 g
salt - 1/4 tsp
sugar powder - 3/4 tsp
Cooking Soda - 2 pinch
Sugar - 600 g
Milk - 1 Tbs
Saffron - Few
Cardamom - 4 No.s
Procedure: Take a Flat plate, add paneer and smash it with the help of palm into a fine paste. Repeat the same for the khoa as well. Now add the Instant gulab jamun mix, baking powder, cooking soda, sugar powder, salt and knead it well make it into a dough. set aside and let it rest for 30 min.
Add 6 cups of sugar to a bowl and add same amount of water. After sugar is dissolved add 1 tbs of milk to clear the sugar syrup. remove the curd from the top layer when the syrup is boiling. Add saffron and check the sticky consistency of the sugar syrup and set aside. After 30 min dough again for 3-5 min and make it into the smooth surface bolls.
Add gulab jamun balls to the oil and deep fry on low flame for 12-15 min till the desired colour is achieved. and immediately transfer it to the warm sugar syrup. and set aside for 2 hours.
Note: while frying, if you get cracks in the balls then add a little bit of all-purpose flour to the dough and knead it again.
