Join me for a rejuvenating Yin Yoga class designed to melt away muscle tension and promote deep relaxation.
In this soothing and meditative practice, you'll experience the following key poses:
Butterfly Pose: Begin your journey with a gentle hip opener, as you bring the soles of your feet together and let your knees drop outward. This pose encourages a profound sense of surrender, allowing tension to melt away.
Lying Pigeon Glute Release: Transition into a supine position to relieve tension in the hips and lower back. This pose fosters relaxation by gently stretching the hip flexors and glutes.
Sphinx Pose: Embrace a gentle backbend, lengthening the spine and expanding the chest. Sphinx Pose not only improves posture but also serves as an opportunity to release tension stored in the upper body.
Hip Flexor Release: Continue your journey with a deep hip flexor stretch, targeting the front of the hips and thighs. This pose offers relief from the tightness caused by extended periods of sitting.
Waterfall Pose: Conclude the class with the calming and restorative Waterfall Pose. In this inversion, you'll elevate your legs on the bolster or against the wall, allowing blood to flow away from the lower body and towards the heart. This pose is a soothing conclusion to your practice, promoting relaxation and balance.
