Fish pose is one of my ultimate favorite stretches! I think it's underrated yoga pose but it has so much benefits. The pose is said to increase circulation in the lumbar spine, nourish and tone the abdominal organs, strengthen the legs, and increase flexibility in the hips especially while in lotus. It doesn't just strengthen the spine and back muscles, but also the hips, ribs, chest, throat, and abdominals. By opening up the throat and chest, this pose stimulates the thyroid gland and provides relief from respiratory ailments. Plus, it helps to open up our throat chakra as well as the heart chakra.
I hope you enjoy this yoga workout but at the same time feel relaxed after this whole session.
