Are you having hip pain? This routine of exercises was created to alleviate hip pain by aligning posture. This menu I am demonstrating was originally created by Pete Egoscue in his original version Pain Free - A Revolutionary Method for STOPPING CHRONIC PAIN. Try these exercises and see what works for you. Many clients get relief from this routine and are quite surprised by the results.
You may have been told you have hip arthritis, hip bursitis, hip flexor tendonitis, have a hip labrum tear, hip degeneration, referred hip pain from the low back or sacroiliac joint, leg length discrepancy or something else. As a posture alignment specialist certified by the Egoscue Institute, I believe posture therapy corrects postural issues that may be the root cause of chronic pain and may serve as a holistic alternative to other types of therapy, drug based treatments, or surgery. However, as always, speak to your physician prior to engaging in any form of exercise. Do not continue any exercise that causes increased pain or discomfort!
