This workout is an upper body and core strength and stretch workout that utilizes isometric holds to build strength. We'll be using the one long stick to provide resistance as we increase the time under tension with each repetition.
People often believe it's impossible to build strength doing a seated workout. NOT TRUE! This is a great example of that! You can, of course, do these exercises standing as well, but know that there are modifications that allow those who remain seated to get the heart rate up, build muscle, and burn fat.
