Here's the key revelation we want you to understand: you don't lose weight to get healthy — you must get healthy first to lose weight! 🔄 The old "eat less, exercise more" mentality from the 1980s simply isn't sufficient anymore due to increased toxin exposure and modern lifestyle factors.
Both Bonni and I wish we could throw out the scale completely and stop this obsession with calorie counting, which created so many dysfunctional relationships with food back in the 1980s.
What we've discovered is that adequate protein intake is absolutely game-changing, especially for women over 50! 🥩 We recommend at least 100 grams of protein daily—roughly one gram per your ideal body weight.
When people finally get enough protein and healthy fats, they naturally feel satisfied and stop obsessing about food. ✨
We also dive deep into belly fat, explaining that visceral fat is far more dangerous than subcutaneous fat. 🫄 Sleep is foundational—it's literally when your body burns fat and builds muscle! 😴
