Why do pregnant and postpartum women often have flare-ups of hip pain during this time? Issues such as pinching in the front of the hip, deep butt pain, piriformis pain, and maybe even an increased risk of labral tears.
One of the things that happens during pregnancy is increased ligament laxity to help our body prepare for birth. This increased laxity means we often end up in a stable pelvic inlet external rotation.
Watch today’s video to find out how this external rotation can lead to issues so you can be better prepared to help yourself and your clients.
Did this video help put any pieces together for you?
