20 Minute Beginner Daily Yoga Flow
This is a gentle, beginner friendly vinyasa class designed to help you build a simple daily yoga practice. We move at a slower pace, explain the first round of Sun Salutation A in detail, then build into a basic standing sequence with Warrior 1, Warrior 2, and Reverse Warrior. After standing, we come down into Malasana (yogi squat) with the option to sit on blocks if heels do not reach the floor, then Dandasana (staff pose) to practice posture, engagement, and body awareness. We finish with seated forward folds, Marichyasana twist, gentle supine twists, and Savasana.
What to expect in this class:
• Slow, guided Sun Salutation A - great for beginners
• Standing sequence with Warrior 1, Warrior 2, and Reverse Warrior
• Malasana Yogi Squat - with option to sit on 1-2 blocks for support
• Dandasana Staff pose to learn alignment, core engagement, and posture
• Seated forward folds and Marichyasana twist
• Gentle supine twists and rest in Savasana (stay as long as you like)
Props:
Mat only. Optional 1-2 yoga blocks (or books/pillows) to support Malasana squat.
