Osteoporosis Canada guidelines suggest balance and strength training as our main focus for bone health and well include both of those, plus 2 warm up moves to help you make the most of your balance and squats.
Always work in ranges that feel strong and competent with no pain! If you're new to squats, have hip or knee pain, a hip replacement or previous hip fracture, please stay with a small squat and no extra weight. Work on form first, then add load once you feel super confident that you can do 8-10 squats with good technique!
