This Horse Girl Yoga practice focuses on twisting and side-body opening to support mobility, balance, and ease in a body that works hard with horses.

• Half Spinal Twist (Ardha Matsyendrasana) helps restore spinal rotation after long hours of forward-focused work, improving comfort and symmetry in the saddle.
• Revolved Side Angle (Parivrtta Parsvakonasana) builds strength and control through the legs and core while training the body to rotate without collapsing, the key for staying balanced and connected.
• Extended Side Angle (Utthita Parsvakonasana) opens the ribs and hips, supporting deeper breath and a more relaxed, stable seat.
• Extended Triangle (Utthita Trikonasana) encourages length through the spine and hamstrings, helping counter tightness from riding and barn work.
• Reclined Spinal Twist (Supta Matsyendrasana) allows the body to fully unwind, releasing tension from the back and hips so the benefits of the practice settle in.

This is steady, intentional movement for horsewomen, nothing forced, nothing rushed, just space where it’s needed most.
